Once students enter high school, parents start planning summer vacations to coordinate with college campus visits (often wondering where all the time went). More exposure to college life helps students make informed decisions about applications and eventually enrollment.

If there’s no summer session on campus during the visit, the quiet can influence the impression a student gets of the school. Work to coordinate visits with orientations or other on campus events to see the campus with more activity, that may give a more realistic impression.
