UC SealThe University of California (UC) system will be releasing admissions decisions on a set schedule through the end of April.  While UC Riverside and UC Merced have already sent some admissions decisions, the other eight campuses will not be releasing decisions until this week.

“Rolling” notifications means that initial responses will be released on the date listed, and additional notifications will be made going forward from that date.  Campuses without “rolling” notifications means that all decisions will be released on the date stated.

For Freshmen applicants only: UC admissions decisions will include waitlist offers.  Every UC campus, except Merced, will be using a waitlist for freshman applicants. Waitlist offers are not exactly an acceptance letter, yet not exactly a denial.  Choosing to stay on a waitlist can be a complicated decision, especially if the campus is a top choice.  With no guarantees for admissions from a waitlist, consulting a knowledgeable adviser is prudent when considering to accept a waitlist offer or not.

May 1, 2014 is the national deadline for deciding to enroll at a college for new freshmen.  Transfer applicants will have until June 1, 2014 to make a final decision about enrolling at a particular UC campus.
