Advanced Placement (AP) Credit Search Tool

As students prepare for the May 2024 Advanced Placement (AP) exams, knowing what college credits may be awarded for a particular score can be useful. The College Board has created a tool, which can be sorted by college, state, city and AP course.

When awarded college units, students can benefit in the following ways:

  • Graduating early, thus saving money on tuition, housing costs, and start earning from a job.
  • Explore diverse interests: With required courses completed, students can explore a range of subjects that pique their interest. Dive into intriguing and sometimes obscure courses just for the joy of learning.
  • Study Abroad: Without the pressure of satisfying major requirements, students can choose unique courses specific to a country and immerse fully in the culture.
  • Internships: Gain practical experience. Without the burden of a full course load, students can focus on professional growth alongside academic commitments.
