The Dilemma

Apparently some town founders in Pennsylvania we’re also parents of high school seniors or community college transfer students who are applying to college. 😆

While college applicants “Desire” to be admitted to the college of their choice and often the freedom of moving away from home, they can also “Panic” about the risk of not being admitted to the college of their choice and uprooting themselves from their childhood home and support network.

Yet, their personal “Paradise” seems to be also in the same direction, if they travel through “Panic” as they “Desire” an answer to what William Deresiewicz terms, “What is the purpose of my life?” For in choosing a college where students gain an understanding of their inherent ability, they will forever be free and maintain peace of mind.
