Learning with a Purpose

Let the semester unfold slowly–looking to make adjustments to your learning process–as your interactions with both the teacher and your other classmates set the tone for your learning experience. This is easier said than done, especially in the later years of one’s youth, when influence creep seems to be in full swing with the attendant pressure rising to a crescendo in your senior year. Friends and family tend to be the greatest source of pressure, who even though well-intended, can at this stage in the learning game can have unintended and sometimes disastrous side-effects. Into these headwinds, though, we must chart our course in order to more fully realize our true purpose in life. We cannot be intimidated by the forces that seem from time-to-time to align themselves against us, in hopes of derailing our higher calling. Gather the courage to embark on the joyous journey of learning, which we all must take, to fulfill the destiny that is unique only to us, during our time on Earth. Seize the day today without hesitation, and be rewarded in more ways than you can ever imagine–squashing all foes that would seek to undermine this most noble deed.
